God's Secret

In Hindu mythology Bhagwan Vishnu(Lord Vishnu) is considered as the Paalan-Karta(God of  Adherent). He is omnipresent. He lives in the ultimate paradise known as "Vaikuntha". Narada muni(Saint Narada) is the greatest devotee of Lord Vishnu who always recite "Narayan"(Lord of Naras i.e; humanbeings). Narada Muni is the one who gave ideas to Rishi Balmiki to write Ramayana, the second largest Dharma Grantha in Hinduism. Today I am going to let you know a very sacred beautiful story about Narada Muni that a very few people knows.

Narada muni with Lord Vishnu

As said before Narada Muni, the greatest devotee of Lord Vishnu as always was chanting "Narayana Narayana" by sitting at the gate of Vaikuntha. He found a Lord's messenger passing by him holding a Pothi(Book of leaves on which Hindu sculptures are written). It was very heavy and large, the great Narada Muni noticed. Narada Muni is always famous for his tricks and knowledge. By using his unconditional tricks he stopped the messenger and got a way to have look on the "Pothi". On the "Pothi" he found it was written "Greatest Devotees of Lord Vishnu" on the top of it. The tricky Lord Narada Muni took the book and started peeking it. On the first page he couldn't find his name. Then Debashree Narada searched the whole "Pothi", but he couldn't find his name anywhere. Tears came of his eyes and he couldn't hold them. He doubted on himself if he hasn't prayed enough to get his name at least at the end of the list of devotee of Lord Vishnu. He was crying by sitting to the edge of the walls of Vaikuntha the whole day.

Then in the evening another messenger passing by Lord Muni Narada was noticed. The messenger holding the small "Pothi" attracted Narada Muni attention. There was written "Person whose Devotee is Lord Vishnu". Narada again peeked the Pothi and on the first page he found his name written on the top of it. He couldn't believe it and ran to Lord Vishnu. The antaryami(All known) Lord Vishnu explained about this to Lord Narada that "The person who is the true devotee of Lord. The person who prays the Lord without any need but with love. In reality the Lord becomes the devotee of that person and stays by his/her side no matter what. This is the God's secret."
